Are you local to the Chicagoland area with a passion for heavy equipment mechanics? Forklift Exchange is looking for a dedicated Service Technician like you to add to their growing team. 

 

Forklift Exchange is the authorized Unicarriers distributor for the greater Chicagoland area. This full-time role is based out of our Bedford Park, IL branch location. The Service Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, repair and replacement, as well as troubleshooting on various models of Unicarrier and other similar brands of material handling equipment.

Requirements/Skills:

• High school diploma, G.E.D. or tech school graduate preferred
• Demonstrated ability to repair equipment per skill level. At least 2 years of experience in repair and maintenance of material handling equipment preferred
• Knowledge of Apple products, including iPad and MacBook, required
• Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic system schematics required
• Ability to repair/replace major system components required
