Hoist Liftruck has delivered the largest lift truck in the company’s long history to Nautico Yacht Club in St. Petersburg, Florida. Though not the highest capacity forklift Hoist has manufactured, the overall size of the M520 is the largest ever built by Hoist.
The pneumatic M520 Neptune Series has a capacity of 52,000 pounds with a 96-inch load center. This M520 spares no expense with a 6.7 liter Cummins turbocharged diesel engine accompanied by a Dana 32,000 series automatic transmission. Heavy lifting is accomplished with its massive 54-foot mast and 26-foot forks. An extra feature for the M520 is the remote control option. This remote control allows the operator to get off the lift truck to navigate the positive or negative lift from an unobstructed view. Standard features include precise inching control, intuitive electronic joystick controls, air-ride seat, and advanced corrosion protection.
The Nautico Yacht Club in St. Petersburg, Florida is the new owner of the M520 Neptune series liftruck. “We needed a big truck, only a few companies make big trucks and Hoist was one of them,” said Jeff Cavanaugh, director of marine operations at the Nautico Yacht Club. “We were pleased with the quick response and glad to see that Hoist stocks their parts and provides a good service plan, this has been an easy journey from day one.”
“Completing the M520 Neptune Series reinforces the fact that Hoist is a large capacity liftruck manufacturer,” said, Marty Flaska, president of Hoist Liftruck. “The size of this liftruck speaks volumes on what we can offer our marina customers, as well as other industries.”
Hoist will be available to discuss the Neptune Series, as well as other liftrucks, at the International Marina & Boatyard Conference January 19th– 22nd, 2008 Atlanta, GA Booth# 217 and also the 67TH Miami International Boat Show on February 14th-18th, 2008 Miami Beach Convention Center Miami, Florida, Booth# 3409.
