This past December, we collected canned food donations from our entire Hoist team for our local food pantry. Throughout the week of December 16, our associates were welcome to leave canned goods in bins in our office. Given only just five days to bring in donations, our associates far surpassed expectations and we were able to fill up the entire East Chicago Salvation Army food pantry.

Seeing the entire Hoist team pitch in to give back to our local Northwest Indiana community was exactly what the holiday season is all about – giving back. Our associates were happy to see that the local food pantry is now able to provide community members with meals this winter thanks, in part, to their donations.

Our executive team was floored to see such large participation from our team this holiday season. We are grateful to have the opportunity to continue supporting the community that warmly welcomed us just four years ago.
