The ECH Series (Empty Container Handlers) are based on the same durable foundation as the popular P-Series pneumatic line, but also has a history dating back to the 1920s. Established in 1918, Brooklyn, New York-based Silent Hoist & Crane manufactured a variety of heavy duty material handling equipment including forklifts, platform trucks, mobile cranes, container handlers and winches. From the early 1920s and the beginning of modern day containerization in the 1960s, Silent Hoist & Crane was at the forefront of container handling equipment in the United States. Hoist Liftruck has spent the past eight years redeveloping the container handling equipment and now are poised to re-establish its presence in this market.

The ECH Series is designed to quickly and safely stack/unstack empty ISO containers with models that can handle:
- up to 8 x 8’6” high or 7 x 9’6” high single containers
- up to 2 on 6 x 8’6” high or 2 on 5 x 9’6” high double containers

The ECH Series is the fastest and most stable empty container  handler on the market with:
- the fastest lifting speed (125 ft. / 38 m per minute)
